Getting Started

Step 1: Install WritingProof from Google Workspace Marketplace™
Step 2: Open any Google Docs™ document — you will see "▶ Start Tracking (Required)" in the WritingProof menu. Click it once to set up automatic tracking for this document.
Step 3: Write your document normally. Tracking starts automatically every time you open the document from now on.
Step 4: When finishing a session, click WritingProof → Stop Tracking before closing. This saves your session to Google Drive™.
Step 5: ⚠️ Important: Wait at least 1 minute before stopping — WritingProof checks for changes every minute to ensure accurate tracking.
Step 6: Click WritingProof → Show Report to see your writing statistics, or Generate QR Code to create a certificate for your document.
